Group Services
Groups are formulated based on age, social functioning, cognitive abilities, interests, and communication needs.
Mindful Movement
Utilizing Mindfulness, Yoga, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy group participants will learn/practice Growth Mindset techniques, self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-regulation.
Thinking Socially
Utilizing play therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Social Thinking Curriculum by Michelle Garcia Winner, group members will learn/practice skills to enhance social-emotional learning, self-regulation, executive functioning skills and perspective talking.
Ages 7-9: Utilizes the Superflex curriculum by Michelle Garcia Winner
Ages 10-12 Utilizes concepts from the Social thinking Curriculum
Calm Your Inner Dragon (Anger management)
Utilizing play therapy techniques and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy group participants will learn to recognize and normalize anger. By being able to gain a better understanding of self, one will learn to better control anger so that is does not lead to outbursts.
Worry Wisely
Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) group participants will learn to break free of anxiety. Skill acquisition targets self-monitoring, self-management, emotional awareness, and the development of healthy coping skills to manage daily stressors and anxieties.
